For the past few months, I have been getting nauseated and lightheaded in the mornings. Being nauseated reminded me of being pregnant. But I knew that was not the reason for my ailments; I no longer have those body parts.
I started taking my Prochlorperazine to ease the way I was feeling. When I brought my issue to my primary care physician’s attention, she took me off of a diabetic med, believing it was the culprit. However, it wasn’t because I still got lightheaded and nauseous in the mornings.
Of course, I was concerned; I googled the medical conditions that would give me my symptoms. The conditions I scared myself into having made me anxious. So I got off of Google, talked with my sister, and got back on Google.
I searched the side effects of my medications and found that most of the medicines I was taking made me nauseous and lightheaded. That’s why I was getting sick in the mornings. I took my medicine in the mornings and got lightheaded and nauseated soon after.
Isn’t it weird how the side effects of one medication can force you to take another medication to get rid of the side effects of the first med? It’s even more bizarre how medicine meant to cure you can sometimes kill you. Wow, I said to myself.
