Waiting for a Tylenol in the ER is insane! They should have given me the Tylenol upon entering, given the amount of money they charge. Lol!
I was in the emergency room from 10:00 am to 10:00pm. Crazy right? With no definite answers why my blood pressure has been low, and why I am getting lightheaded.
I have been having this issue for several months. My primary care took me off a diabetic medicine that could cause low blood pressure, but that med wasn’t the culprit. My cardiologist lowered the dose of one of the heart meds. We soon found out that it wasn’t the heart med.
For a little while my blood pressure continued to be on the low side, but I wasn’t getting lightheaded. However, within the last few months, the light-headedness has returned. And this is frustrating and kind of scary. The scary thing is sometimes I feel like I am going to pass out.
I haven’t been getting any of the answers I need from my doctors. That is why I went to the ER. The ER nurses took my labs, and I had a chest x-ray. The doctor went over the results, which he said were fine. So now what?!
The doctor was sympathetic as he referred me back to my primary care physician. I didn’t like that I had spent the entire day at the hospital, but it is better to be safe than sorry. I have an appointment with my PCP this week. So I will see what she is talking about.
Oh yea, the reason for the Tylenol is I had a headache!
Until the next blog be blessed!
